He’ll absolutely get a game in the UCL mark my words. There’s the aforementioned early qualification that will probably happen, leaving Bayern to play lesser players in their final group stage fixtures. Also, there may be 11 midfielders, but Goretzka is now out and three of the midfielders (all youth players) are less qualified than Singh right now. Singh’s played exclusively on the right wing anyway but can really fit on both wings as well as CAM so Bayern will want him for that

Final group stage match is at home against Spurs, which doesn't really seem that conducive (on paper, 3 months out).

Every chance they're both qualified by then. The flipside is that the top spot may be on the line.

His recent assist for the reserve team was world class. Unbelievable ball, even more impressive than his goal imo.

He has silenced those who said he was too small, too weak etc. Funny because  Ardie Savea the current form All Black was also told he was too small and would never make it by some so called experts.

Picked up a yellow card & they scored off the free kick to start the comeback. Not his fault tho, was terrible keeping.

Full game for BM II in a 2-1 win over Ingolstadt (6th on table), in Liga 3.

Ingolstadt, played whole 2nd half with 10 men.

BM II up to 13th on the table.

Marinovic's old 'pub football' club Unterhaching are the current Liga 3 leaders.

From Soccerways formation map looks like as an #8. Though Davies, whose presence contributed to Singh having a deeper role last week, is not playing this week.

Singh with 2 assists. BM II now up 4-0.

Singh involved in all 4 goals - 2 assists, and 2 passes that lead to assists for the other goals. Impressive.

Some nice touches. Sort of a dummy stepover pre 1st assist, and outside of the foot for pass for 2nd assist.

If Spurs don't get 6 points against Red Star in the next two matchdays, Bayern could secure top spot in the group before Matchday 5. Which would give Sarpreet two shots at making the team for a Champions League game.

Have not been watching exclusively, but from what I have seen, Singh is covering a lot of ground and dropping very deep when opposition have the ball. As always, composed in possession and getting about the place. Seems to be a bit of feeling in the game too, a lot of pushing and shoving and a few tempers flaring up.

Braunschweig can go top of 3 Liga with a win today.

Started paying attention during the HT break and Georg Niedermeier was giving his thoughts on the game. From what I gathered had a little bit to say about the A-League too. Although my German is non existent so he could have been saying anything...

How did Sarpreet play?

Thought he played well without being outstanding, was a good solid performance. Good range of passing, composed on the ball and some good play to get out of tight situations. Also liked him getting involved in some of the physical stuff - tackles, tracking back and getting back to help defend. In saying that it was a very tough & physical game.

Braunschwieg for their part I thought were unnecessarily aggressive, there were about 3 separate occasions where Bayern players were shoved to the floor. Was actually surprised no one was sent off. But a good chance for Singh to soak in the experience, as it won't be the last time he is involved in such a physical, fiery encounter.

Yeah bang on. Surprised there wasn’t a red on Braunschweig’s part - at least half the team was hacked or shoved over in off-the-ball challenges, including Singh who was crumpled on the pitch for a few seconds giving me a heart attack. Disgusting sportsmanship on display

He’s definitely playing in Thiago Alcantara’s no. 6 role - been played surprisingly deep when fellow young stars Davies and Cuisance have been on the field. Showed a lot of defensive prowess out there, very tenacious in the tackle as YoungHeart said, and dare i say his strength isn’t a glaring issue anymore. You really had to look hard to see him losing the ball, was so confident and composed compared to his less experienced teammates. Didn’t have a particularly fantastic game because he never had too many creative opportunities

Nice article. So he's training with the first team a couple times a week, not bad but not full time as some thought.
What I really like about that lad is how he seems to have his head firmly screwed on his shoulder and his feet planted on the ground.
He's got bags of skills and if he works hard he'll go places.

So Bayern with a 3-2 win over Olympiakos, in Champions League in Greece.

A perfect 9 points from 3 games.

A win in the return game in Bavaria on 7th November, would clinch qualification to the Round of 16.

Singh must remain a chance of getting some action in the last 2 group games (away to Red Star and home to Spurs).

No but you've got to think he might be a chance to be included in the wider squad perhaps?
He was obviously considered highly by the coach during pre-season - how many dead rubbers will Bayern get this season? Looks like the perfect opportunity - I'd say he's got a 40% of making the squad.
