On Saturday morning (15/2), My Dad was helping his sister and brother-in-law when he fell from a roof and sustained terrible injuries.

Robbie was resuscitated, placed in an induced coma and is currently in Wellington hospital on life support. Robbie suffered a brain bleed, fractured skull, multiple facial fractures around his eyes and nose, partially collapsed lungs, kidney damage, lacerated spleen, a broken wrist and a broken hand and thumb.

If anyone is able to help i would greatly appreciate it.

So Dad is still in a coma, When they try take him off he is in a lot of pain it would seem and is in distress, so they put him back under.

He was able to breathe by himself yesterday though which is a good thing.  They were hoping to take him off life support and out of a coma today but he has come down with a fever and wasn't really responsive when they took him off the medicine.

Ill keep updating here every couple days

IN regards to me and getting back from Japan, there is a passport issue which hopefully will be sorted today.

Thanks again to all those kind people in the fever that have helped out

So thanks to some of you guys, i spent last week in NZ  sadly yet again didnt get to see a nix game due to dates but got to see my dad which is the main thing.  He has some minor brain damage ( hope that goes away) and he probably wont be able to bend his wrist again but he is alive and thats the main thing.

He will head down soon for some brain rehab and manor park. but is in plastics at hutt hospital after having his face rebuilt.

Hopefully back in may to see him again.

Once again thanks for all the help

My dad finnaly got surgery on his wrist last month and it seems to be healing nicely.

Due to the brain damage he has become very quiet, and keeps loosing things, putting things in weir places (power tools in the fridge etc.)

talk on the phone fairly often but i talk more to my step mom who is there beside him then him due to him not being confident enough to speak. He is definatly lucky to have such a great partner there to help him out.

Hopefully this corona thing ends soon s i can go and see him
