Signed to Copenhagen's U19 side. Congrats to him.

Another Ole grad off to Europe. It's an impressive looking list now.

Sounds like will be in AWs squad for Belgium if that game goes ahead.

Heard good things about him over the last year or two. I've never seen him play but I might get to do that sooner rather than later

Declan is prone to silly comments and a sense of superiority.

That been said, his programme is undoubtedly the shining light on NZ player development. The NIX have had higher profile transfers in Libby and Sapreet, but Ole is pumping out quality players on a regular basis.

The big question now, is whose next?

Senior side (2nd last season) start their Danish Superliga season with a 3-2 loss at OB (9th last season).

Came back from 3-0 down.

They have a Europa League 2nd round tie against IFK Göteborg midweek.

Quickly winning people over it seems. Straight into the starting XI for his second game in the U19s league, 90 minutes in a 4-4 draw with Randers.

Stamenic number 4 in these highlights. Lot of running round really, not involved in any of the goals: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z_qO_pW2q7M

København U19s with a 3-1 win over Nordsjaelland in the U19s cup final. Stamenic winning the MOTM award, scoring København's first goal to equalise in the 54th minute. Watched the full game and he was absolutely sensational, best player on the park from either side. Some wayward long balls which is uncharacteristic, but had incredible touch and composure, moved effortlessly and teammates saw him as the main drivng force in the side which was nice. Always calling for him to come and get the ball

How many are actually kicking on and doing well above Euro pub/reserve/youth level?

Wyners had a few do well, the Nix too along with a couple of others.  I don't necessarily think Declan's lot are any better then other academies past or present, just that they are getting youth run-outs at middling Euro clubs.

Not sure how long you have lived in the UK, but feel you are out of touch with what Ole are achieving.

Thomas & Boyd speak for themselves

Pjinaker at the 5th best team in Portugal. Already made a match day squad. Been there a few weeks

Just, Wilkins & now McCowatt in Danish 2nd tier at current league leaders Helsingor. An ambitious club who look like challenging for promotion this season to the Danish top flight..

Garbett getting minutes in Swedish top tier. Admittedly his club struggling.

Conroy in Swedish 3rd tier. But's he's only 19.

Stamenic. From Mrs Mils reports already starring at his club's U19 team. He's been in Denmark a matter of weeks. He's only 18. Could well be in the first team at Copenhagen (recent Europa League quarter finalists) before season end. Sounds a real talent.

Parker-Price is at a Swedish 5th tier club (Torslanda). But it's probably just a start, before he goes elsewhere. It's been tipped he may make the Euro AWs if a team is actually announced. Pjinaker started in Europe at Torslanda

Don't forget all the above crew bar Thomas & Boyd are very young. I'm guessing all 18-21 yrs old. Who knows where they will end up, it's very early on for all of them.

You have a couple of guys with MLS contracts as well (Collier & Adams). Collier looks to be doing well at Chicago Fire. No doubt I've missed someone, and yeah I've only mentioned male footballers.

Then you have the next crop coming through at Western Suburbs, who currently lead the Central League. Both Weenix and Ole should feel proud of the talent they are producing now, and both will have huge roles to play with future of NZ football.

And yeah recommend this as a listen. Fascinating in many ways.

yep - I have no affiliation but you can't deny the incredible talent Ole has begun to pump out. Fruits of their methodology, something we've never seen in NZ before

To my knowledge Conroy has never been an Ole/Wests player. Think he's ex Western Springs.

Sorry just assumed a product of Ole, as signed for Berga same time as Jesse Edge. That wouldn't have happened by accident

Game obviously viewed by a Benny Hill fan.

Be interesting to see if Stamenic gets close to the first team.

They are currently struggling a bit in 9th spot in the Danish Superliga. Though they have had Europa League distractions until now, and they have just had their first league win this morning 3-2 over Nordsjælland

Brøndby are the early pace setters with 4 wins.

Well it wasn't a debut because it wasn't a competitive game. Plus he played for both teams during the 3 x 30 mins. It's still good news, but isn't the same thing as scoring on debut, which would have to be in a competitive game.

Impressive! Considering he's been in Denmark nearly a minute.

Hoping he gets a glimpse of game time at some point. Great experience for the lad. ?
