Sprint Race of round 1 is on in 50 minutes, I think its live but you cant trust TV3.

Grid:

And finding the grid on the A1GP I find out the Incompetant TV 3 aren't showing it live FFS which means I know result. Won't tell you anything except NZ is on Front Row of Grid for sprint race.

Although there is a chance the sprint race is delayed with the feature being live, cause there are no feature results as yet. I shall find out.

2nd in sprint race. 3rd in feature race. Not bad for an 18 year old in his first A1GP race. The other teams will be thinking who is that kid from New Zealand?

Anyone sit in front of the Tele all day watching? First five laps are alright with all the crashes and jostling for position. I just like finding out the results and checking out the highlights. I can follow motorsport but not watch it.

I missed about lap 10-30 and lap 50-60, watched all the others though.

Great finish.

The only F1 race that is better than Bathurst is Monaco.

Other than Bathurst though F1 is about 1000 times better than Supercars.

Murphy got up to 2nd, not bad considering his steering was knackered at the start and they slipped to 26 while repairs were done. I watched the whole race, it was great to watch.

I watched the qualifying on Saturday, then the top 10 shootout, the race build up and then the whole race. Only leave the couch during the ad breaks. I do this every year.

I can handle ads when its a safety car, but half-way through the action!

WOW!!!!! What a finish. Timo Glock...

edit:

Does no one care about Lewis "Getting into some 30y/o Pussy Cat" Hamilton being champion in one of the most dramatic finishes to a season.

Yeah its quite an achievement and remember he almost did it a year earlier and lost out by 1 point in what was his rookie year.

The V8's hit Bahrain this weekend where about 25 people will probably turn up to watch. Mark Winterbottom absolutely walked away with this last year showing incredible speed. Will be interesting to see if FPR can do it again or if other teams can sort out their set up.

You reckon his best finish this year was the one after the race?

Ferrari fired their pit crew last week.

The announcement followed Ferrari's decision last month to take advantage
of the New Zealand government's "work for the dole scheme" and to hire
unemployed Maori youths.

The decision to hire them was bought on by a recent television documentary
on how Maori youths were able to remove a set of car wheels in less than 6
seconds without proper equipment, whereas Ferrari's pit crew can only do it
in 8 seconds with the aid of millions of dollars of high tech gear. As most
races are won and lost in the pits, Ferrari was confident they would have a
decided advantage over every other F1 team.

However Ferrari got more than they bargained for on Sunday when, during the
first pit stop the Maori crew changed all 4 tyres in under 6 seconds - but
within 12 seconds they had re-sprayed, re-badged and sold the car over to
the McLaren team for ten cases of Waikato beer, an HQ Holden and a quick
look at Lewis Hamilton's girlfriend in the shower.
