Norway just casually bring in to their squad, a U21 kid worth £12.5 million.
They seem to have a proper Golden Generation thing going on. Their U20s are playing in a World Cup quarter final against France as I write this.
Not bad for a country of 5.6M.

Five players, including star striker Erling Haaland, have withdrawn from the Norway national squad two days before their friendly international against New Zealand.
The Norwegian FA said in a statement: “Players with particularly tight match schedules are returning home: Alexander Sorloth, Julian Ryerson, Erling Braut Haaland and Fredrik Bjorkan. Felix Horn Myhre is leaving the squad due to a sore ankle.”
The departures represent some of Norway’s most experienced international players, with Haaland (Manchester City) having scored 46 goals in 51 appearances, Sørloth (Atlético Madrid) scoring 24 in 66 games, and Ryerson (Borussia Dortmund) having 37 caps.
The latest withdrawals follow two last week when Arsenal captain Martin Ødegaard injured his medial collateral ligament and Genoa’s Leo Østigård had not recovered from a broken rib.
The Norwegian FA say two uncapped players have been added to the squad to play New Zealand — defender Sebastian Sebulonsen (FC Köln) and midfielder Sverre Nypan, who is on loan to English Championship club Middlesbrough from parent club Manchester City.
Nypan, for whom Manchester City paid £12.5 million to sign him from Norwegian club Rosenborg, captained Norway’s U-21 side in their 4-1 loss to Spain on Saturday (NZT).
