Quite surprised how quiet it is here, in the after match of the tournament.

Does anyone realistically think someone may be taken a punt on by a professional club anywhere?

Garrow is an interesting one. Has he played in any youth WC squads (forgive the ignorance), I hadnt heard of him. Was surprised that he started the second game after all the media hype for Tracy 'saving x shots'. Garrow did very well even if it was for parrying most shots that came his way and got luck on a few occasions.

Thought Yoo showed flashes but probably not enough of a sample size. The backline did well for the last game but doubt someone like the Nix do not already have a good understanding of Mitchell et al.

Whats Ilich like in the Northern League?  Seemed vocal, commanding and came across well in his interviews off the pitch. But looked a little static in his game. Perhaps forgiven due to heat and strength of opponent. But he is another one who has kicked on despite not making age group NT squads.

I thought Gerson played well and came in well for Lobo who had a very tough time against Olise. Gray did well and was impressed with his composure on the ball and not to mention that goal.

Top sides in the world have stopped buying off the back of good world cups performances due to the small sample size (no more James Rodriguez transfers). However, some clubs out there at the other end of the scale could do well with making a relatively cheap, low risk punt on a few of these players. That's if they want to give up there day jobs..

You'd think Garrow has interested a few clubs, surely? Hopefully ACFC don't put barriers in the way, like Manurewa did with van Hattam all those years ago.

Jerson was a right winger at Melville, and his short stay at Rewa. He could be a sqaud player in the A-League for a lower-half team?

Ilich is at his level in the national league.

I always liked Adam Bell, but he didn't do anything of note. And did Joe Lee get on the pitch? He's a decent winger that is worth looking at.
