Overall thoughts on PLP for this season? And compared to last if you had it?

For me I think it was better than last season. Picture quality seemed better and it was smoother, though still a bit jerky at times and still not as good as watching on Sky. I watched all the Arsenal games and barely any others, and the highlights most weeks. Usually been ok at the highest quality although in a couple of games near the end I did get a lot of buffering and had to watch at a lower quality but that may be due to the internet in my house not being that great sometimes (and still ADSL). May also be because I was watching at prime time in the evening after work. I suspect it wouldn't have worked that well if I tried to watch 4 games at once as above.

Great to be able to watch when I want without having to remember to record or worry about how much space is left on the MySky etc. There were also a few weekends in the season I was away from home and was still able to watch easily.

I split the cost and shared it with my Dad and we just coordinated to watch at different times. Worked mostly OK as he's retired so has more time in the week and gets up early so on a Sunday he could usually finish a game before I was up. He also tended to watch a few games a week as he had the time.

I expect you don't get the jerkiness through the apps and my main issue is that 2 seasons in there is still no app available to me despite having a smart TV, tablet, smart phone, PS4 and PS3. Unfortunately got all the wrong brands and operating systems. So I still have to connect my laptop to my TV. Earlier in the season when their partnership with Lightbox was announced and then Lightbox released PS4 and PS3 apps I asked PLP on Facebook whether they would have an app for Playstation and they replied that it was a possibility for next season so I hope that happens. Either that or Chromecast.
