I expect you don't get the jerkiness through the apps and my main issue is that 2 seasons in there is still no app available to me despite having a smart TV, tablet, smart phone, PS4 and PS3. Unfortunately got all the wrong brands and operating systems. So I still have to connect my laptop to my TV. Earlier in the season when their partnership with Lightbox was announced and then Lightbox released PS4 and PS3 apps I asked PLP on Facebook whether they would have an app for Playstation and they replied that it was a possibility for next season so I hope that happens. Either that or Chromecast.
Just asked about this on Facebook and they have replied that there will be no Playstation app and the platform will be the same for next season. Disappointing that connecting the laptop to the TV will remain my only option to watch it on my TV for a third season. Since they have partnered up with Lightbox who have developed PS4 and PS3 apps I can't imagine it would have been a lot of work to adapt them.
I believe they got it for 3 seasons so it should come up for bidding again after next season. Will be interesting to see what happens then.
Price increased is also a bit disappointing. For this season we paid $150 for earlybird, but next season it's $200 with the earlybird deal being "free Copa America." I notice a pass for just Copa America is $50 on its own so I question whether we are getting it free or just having no choice but to pay for it as well.
