Santi has become a central midfielder for us in the last year and we are well stocked in that role.
I wonder if he were to go, perhaps we'd look to replace him with a wide forward instead?
We have Ramsey, Wilshere and the Ox who all play in the role Cazorla is in right now. If we didn't buy another CM and lost Santi then I reckon we'd best look for someone to play wide right. I think Walcott is going to be a central striker next season, and if Ox is moving centrally, then there is a spot there.
Reus? Draxler?
I don't want Santi to go but the Atletico rumours have never stopped, there must be something to it, he must simply be yearning to go back to Spain. If he went and we got in a top class winger then that would be ok.
