Arsenal are reported to have told Roma to forget about signing Wojciech Szczesny on a permanent basis as they want the goalkeeper back at Emirates Stadium.
Makes sense.Szczesny has been here his whole career but Ospina didn't come here to spend his prime on the bench and has a right to feel a bit unlucky and annoyed to lose his place after a pretty good season last season. But how good has it been to have the best keeper in the league again? I said at the time Cech was pretty much my dream signing, but as a keeper myself I think even I underestimated how much of a difference he would make. John Terry said he would be worth 12-15 points a season and that's looking pretty accurate so far.
