That was awesome. Don’t think I’ve celebrated a goal as much as the 2nd since probably Welbeck’s last big one. Forgotten what going to work with the throat feeling hoarse from a good scream felt like! For me probably the only better feeling in football than beating United is beating the vermin who currently manages them so to do them both at the same time feels pretty special. As much as so many of us want him gone, you wouldn’t be human if you don’t feel an immense amount of joy for Wenger finally beating him.
Some good performances all around, Ramsey especially produced something we haven’t seen from him in a long time. The formation seems to allow him a bit more freedom to make the sort of runs he excels at. Ox is obviously the other big winner from the formation change as he seems to be thriving in the RWB role. Been tried in so many different roles so perhaps we’ve finally found his long term one? Quite like Monreal in the left centre back role too. He hasn’t quite got the legs for the LWB sort of role anymore, but is defensively solid enough that this could be a good position for him.
