Portland Timbers (9th in the West) host Vancouver Whitecaps (10th).

Tuiloma on the bench. Looks like he's back to being relegated as the team's 3rd choice CB, behind Mabiala &  Župarić, as he was for most of last season, including MLS finals.

Most unintended assist ever! 😆
Ball comes out, Tuiloma battles for possession with a Columbus player before tumbling to the ground with the ball falling for the goal scorer Moreno - who, basically from point blank range then kicks it directly at a prone Tuiloma's head! The ball bounces back to Moreno fortuitously, and he laces it from 25 yards to earn the Timbers a point on their travels!

Socceroo CB Milos Degenek a full game for Columbus. Were a few Socceroo v AW club matchups over the weekend.

With the point Portland go above Boxall's Minny into 5th on the ladder (MLS West). The 2 MLS Kiwis now sharing a flight to Brissy (with Adams & Wynne)?

Effectively a knock out round for the final round next week in order to make the playoffs.

Portland travel to Utah to take on RSL, while Minnesota host Vancouver. Winner takes all affairs, which is what you want to see when playoffs and finals series are involved. Right down to the wire stuff. Minnesota probably the most precarious having not won in 6 and seemingly have fluffed their lines as they stumble towards making the top 7 in the West.

Of course we'll be backing the Kiwi lads in for those ones, yeah?

Decision Day in the MLS tomorrow with Timbers (6th, 46 pts) travelling to Real Salt Lake (8th, 44 pts).

Basically a mirror image of Minny (7th) hosting Vancouver (9th) - but Portland unlike Minny don't have home advantage.

Tuiloma a full game in a 3-1 loss to Real Salt Lake (RSL). 

Sadly for the Timbers they miss out on the MLS playoffs as both RSL (go 7th) and Minny with their win (go to 6th) and overtake them.

Portland brutally finish the regular season in 8th (GD 0), 1 point behind RSL (GD -2).

Tuiloma played 30 games, with 24 starts & 6 goals. A NZ summer awaits I'm guessing.
