Would closed door matches be a better financial proposition for the league (or at the very least for Fox who apparently props up the league)? Broadcast advertising revenues would increase dramatically.

There was an article when this all started that out of all the Australian professional codes the A-League is less dependent on ticket sales than others, I'm sure they'll be making more of a loss but hopefully the councils jump in with discounts on venues, etc.
