Really think our problems could be greater than some imagine sadly. Unless Aussies gets their handling of the virus down pat I don't see travel bans to there being lifted anytime soon. I mean hairdressers are allowed to operate pretty much says it all.
It's a shambles. The state and federal strategies are all over the shop. And never mind hairdressers. I work in a crowded office where the manager has paid lip service to social distancing by having desks 1.5 meters apart but insists on getting all the staff in a big close packed group for 20 minutes for one of his 'inspirational' speeches where everyone is talking and laughing over one another. Then they all pack into the lifts to go downstairs for a smoke!
Will be a miracle if someone in there isn't infected before the government finally grows a pair and applies a full lockdown.
Your manager is a moron. Most office talk fests, can be covered off far better in a well written group email.
