Goddammit, I hope you told them to come to NZ.

They played Aussie I while back but I couldn't make it over at the time.

It was Mayell, and wasn't it "like your putting your nob in a plug socket"?

I saw one on youtube which was recorded via a handicam. Looked pretty amazing. A full orchestra and actors running around in front of a big screen. Have you seen it?

Sounds like someone who's handicammed the stage show version. They got everyone except David Essex back in for it.

Metallica, Megadeth, Lamb of God, Napalm - listed by Joko Widoko, soon to become next Indonesian President, as his favourite listening.

No Joko.

Good. A couple of duff tracks in there but overall I like it a lot.

Biased as fuck though.

And Copper Blue remains the high-water mark of Mouldy songwriting.

I know I'm going deaf and really need to go and get my ears retested but anyone finding the vocals on new albums harder to hear? Both Bob's and the Latest War on Drugs really have me struggling to hear the words.

I also like that cover "Beer Commericial" on Copper Blue.

No but there was a good article in Uncut around 2-3 years ago about his coming out.

I need Frankie Mac to read it and then post a one line review on here: "I read Bob Mould's autobiography last night" ;-)

That one liner is just a metaphor for "look at me reading all these music articles and going to footy matches and you are are stuck in a shitehole I bet you wished you had my life."

Which is actually quite true as it turns out.

I this'd both of those comments.  Well played boys.

To be honest, I have never heard of Bob Mould but if his book has stories about rock and roll excesses that I can steal and pass off as my own (in order to make people feel their lives are inferior to mine due to the country that they live in) I will give it a go.
