If they were not with club XX in 2013, they are ineligible to play for club XX's Nike Cup team in 2014. That was the rule last year at least.
Who knows what additional clauses have been put in this year to stop the club-hopping nonsense just for Nike cup.
That's why several kids joined Nomads this season (without actually playing for the club).
