I was out there recently and very impressed. Unfortunately it is a bit more challenging for those in the city where quality surfaces are a premium and when available are generally marked to full senior size. It would also appear the Selwyn Council give more attention to their playing surfaces. Well done Selwyn.
SDC is fantastic to deal with, but let's be clear that SUFC pays for ALL linemarking and owns the portable goals around the district.
No-one stopping town clubs doing the same, even if it is on lesser quality pitches. (let's hope for a dry-ish winter, from a cost and quality point of view)
