wow you've woken up in a positive mood Doloras.
I dont think Talay is the type to quit mid season. He seems pretty well aware of why he cant get the players he wants/needs. Sure, he's not happy about it and its frustrating but I dont see him quitting. Besides his comments around the new mexican signing staying permanently if they can make it happen suggests Talay is still looking towards next season.

The big concern I have is whether Welnix are keen to fund a proper season in 22/23? They are haemorrhaging money and this season was hoped to bring a bit of cash in with some home games- unlikely now.

I would hope that the 140m investment in the league will help the Welnix in some regard financially.
The APL has said that this money is going into expansion and marketing, not to the teams.

That's a hell of a marketing budget.
All they've said is the money is not going to the owners, they want to use it to build a new digital platform (which is where they are woeful at the moment), and will make some money available for marquees.

140 million sounds like a lot, but it's supposed to be used for long term, sustainable growth, and not be blown next year.

Remember the A-League is now partially responsible for broadcast, so there's equipment to buy, they also want to build a new digital platform (which is where they are woeful at the moment) and will make some money available for marquees.
