Lets really hope it is the Glory.

Only team Nix has beaten since games restarted.

Lost 4 of their 6 hub games.

Rumours of nepotism and a player walking out.

No Castro or Ikonomidis, plus defenders Swiss international Gregory Wuthrich and Korean Kim Soo-Beom (yeah googled the last 2) never returned post Covid.

Like the Nix in a hub 4 hours flying away from family. Perth feels like another country to most Aussies, and I presume vice versa if you live in the world's most remote big city (most remote above 1M people or something).

A controversial owner who openly stopped player wages in the Covid break.

And the baggage that they blew their big chance to finally be champions last season when hosting the GF, in that brand new shiny beautiful stadium, when it finally seemed their time. That would have & will still hurt. They have a proud long history (by Aussie standards) going back to NSL, but they have never been A League champs. Arguably biggest club in the league not to win the big dance.

Their “Premiership window” under Poppa may have gone after losing last season, and a lot of that expensive squad having moved on now. Is Poppa consigned to be the best A League coach never to win the toilet seat?

Nix fans maybe a bit flat at the moment, but it would be worse to be a long standing Glory supporter. Robbed by Berisha's dive in that GF at Suncorp in 2012. Nix should be good chance against them.
