We have won 7 out of 24 games this season so our problem is a bit more than merely 'consistency'. We are consistently poor. Those away games in Sydney have masked a truly horrendous run.
If you had an absolutely equal win/draw/loss ratio after 24 games you would expect 8 wins, so 7 wins in 24 isn't significantly worse. Ok, we've lost more than we should have, I'll give you that. I just think all this angst is a bit much. If we had managed to beat CCM twice and the Jest twice instead of losing those games we would be equal on points with the Glory in 5th. Isn't beating good teams and losing to shark teams almost the definition of inconsistency?
Not saying we have been good, but the margins between us and the good teams aren't as great as some people are making out.
Steve O only ever pops up to moan after a loss and nothing can make him see the sunlight. Sometimes it's best to leave the troll to deprive themselves of oxygen and let them wither away (until next week)
He's not a troll and he does make some valid points from time to time (all be it in a slightly morose fashion) there has to be negative as well as positive input or else we just become a bunch of cheer leaders ,sad arse licking sycophants unable to call a spade a spade and accepting of our position,I want to see the Phoenix win this league not just turn up every second or third game,the also rans who are fundamentally just happy to be invited to the party and then sit in the corner blushing all night ,feck that for a game of cards,lets grow a pair and let the team and management know we are pissed off ,tough love time,you know it makes sense!
