Comment from Australia about Ernie getting lucky with a couple of recruits. I say nothing lucky about Burns, Rolly & A-Rod when Ernie already had runs on the board at Victory with guys like Kruse, Rojas even Carlos not to mention Fred etc.
Roly may be luck. Then again so was and is Broich. But with Krishna, there's nothing like the luck you get from working hard for a year.
+ Having one the fittest team, mentally strong to fight for 90 min is not luck, it is just good work.
Luck? I thought Ange had identified him as a key potential signing when he was still playing in Germany and pursued him hard until he got his man? With Krishna Ernie was more or less taking a (calculated) punt IMO. I'm still wondering how Roy will go when he hits a non-scoring spell a la Brockie.
