OK, turning this off now. Have liked the look of Ben Waine but that's been about it to be fair. I know it's a patchwork XI, but we're being made to look silly and I do not endorse this.
We would have a problem against Perth at nib stadium even at our strongest, except maybe prior to Fenton's injury. Once the decision was made by Rudan to play the youngsters, and to have Williams again at RWB, it was always going to be a mismatch. Add to it a poor night by Singh, and a lousy show by Golec, and it is even worse than a mismatch.
The commentators say quite fairly that the Nix are an excellent team this season and that this game does not reflect our season overall, especially with the makeshift team in the first half. I however think we would need a proper RWB to have any chance in the game against Victory. It is a shame to waste Williams in that spot.
