Why should I attend the the next home game Vs Sydney FC on 23 December? I don't have a valid answer...
Most HAL teams have been, and will be, beaten by Sydney FC this season, apart from just a few exceptions. Last season was like that too. So for the fans of those clubs there is a high likelihood of going home after a game, feeling despondent, glaring at the cat, swearing loudly, and arguing with their nearest and dearest over something completely unimportant (this happened to me after the CCM game).
To follow your logic, the stands around Australia should be empty - one of them every weekend, wherever the Smurfs are playing - of the opposing team's supporters, since the likelihood of winning a game against Sydney FC is a snowflake's.
We could extend this logic further to its mad conclusion and demand that FFA takes the licence away from Sydney FC, for reducing the gate takings from the A-League, already for the second season in a row, and bringing everyone's metrics down.
