To the regular attendees is a-league normally played at that pace or was it the pitch or ref that was the problem.
I thought the second half particularly was a little slow... seemed to be lots of whistle/stoppages (hence the 5 mins extra time). The kits and pitch also made the game seem less fluent than usual. I still thought it was entertaining though, and it didn't feel slow when Roy was on the ball.
