Am I going crazy here or am I the only person that's concerned about the no shots business? We cant rely on teams conceding own goals each week. Yes a draw was a nice result but a more clinica  team would've scored far more against us,  the Victory arent known for that finishing edge atm. There's no chance that we'll place highly in the league if that's going to be the plan against teams that are "better" than us.

I'm not really sure what our plan is gonna be against teams that don't rush into tackles like Brisbane did, against a team that sits back deep we'll be in trouble.

Some of our passing was shocking as well, constantly giving up cheap possession and putting pressure on the defense. 

Yeah I'll take the result but there was very little in that that I would call a good performance.

In a perfect world you'd be totally correct. But Football is about points. We'll keep getting points due to "our resilience " (quote from another poster). We'll be close to the top of the league at the end of the season.

There is zero chance we continue to massively outperform xg for the entire season. We're currently sitting at over double actual goals to xg, the won't continue forever. If you want to be near the top you need to perform against the top teams too.

We've taken a point from 2 of those away from home and actually we were robbed IMHO.

To me neither side ever looked like scoring despite infinite shots and corners. And a corrupt referee. 

It'll take a lot of quality to actually beat us. 

I disagree. Victorys biggest problem going foward is that Arzarni is high key kinda shark with decision making, a more intelligent player would've made us pay big time. 

We were let off by Vuck ineffectiveness not by incredible defense.

You're kind of describing every wide forward in the league though, in terms of decision making - our biggest problems in previous years were defending as a unit, dumb errors leading to goals and losing our collective shark when going down a goal, early days but it seems like the big problems we had are mostly solved. The goals will come but defence wins leagues, or something like that.
