Last nights game was boring - hardly one to encourage extra punters to come in. Hopefully they focus on the fact we are unbeaten still more so.
A point is always good, but to have almost parity in possession but no shots is not something to celebrate and it highlights some of our concerns before the seasons start around where are the goals going to come from.

Sure it wasnt the champagne exciting football that we want to see, but you dont wn a league just by playing one style of footy. Sometmes when your back is against the wall you need to go back to basics and steal a point. Even the Man Citys of this game play "boring" footy when the need to grind out a point. It's a valid way of getting points, sure the non-footballing public will think its boring and dull, but that just shows a lack of uncerstaning of the game and how it works. Football isnt a high scoring game. It can be, but high scoring games are the rarity.
