It's not just the poor state of the team its the woeful state of the league. Ever since most of the Matildas took off to play in UK and Europe the standard has plummeted. What strikes me most is the lack of intensity and pace - too many players jogging, even walking. Great to see Mickey Robertson inject some pace into this game.
Athleticism not a priority with the current coaching team given the selections / substitutions.
Blockers and clunkers are the preference.
