Although he played for the All Whites he is still technically an import - Colin Walker.
Played non-league in England before moving to Gisborne City and then went back to England to play for Barnsley. Had a second spell at Gisborne City again before heading to England again with Cambridge United, Sheffield Wednesday and Doncaster Rovers.
Very talented striker who once scored against then European champs Liverpool at Anfield 1982 in the League Cup.
He was somewhat held back in his career by being a chronic asthmatic (he would need to have a puff on his inhaler during games sometimes).
This explains I think why he never lasted long at any clubs after returning to England after his second spell with Gisborne.
He yo-yoed between the likes of Doncaster Rovers and Sheffield Wednesday and very minor sides like Matlock Town and Harworth Colliery.
