Laca, Torreira, Balogun, Hutchinson, Mavropanos, Guendouzi, Leno, Tavares, Onkonkwo have been sold, released, or loaned.  There are 11 more from academy on loan too including Patino.

Candidates still to go:
AMN, Nelson, Pepe, Mari, Runarson, Bellerin.

That’s actually an incredible amount of outgoings to have achieved by now - even if Mavropanos and Guendouzi deals were simply completion of loan-to-buy clauses.

Are you guys going to get any of the kits this year?
I'm quite tempted by the new home kit and the black third kit.
Biggest question is who do you get on your shirt? Saka, Odegaard, ESR, Martinelli, Jesus are all super tempting - even defenders like Tomi, Zinchenko, Tierney, Saliba are brilliant.
But I'm really just lying to myself, the only answer is Gabriel 9 1 1 6.

I really like the black shirt. Thinking of getting it as a reward to myself if I meet a certain goal this year (cutting down on frivolous spending at the moment so difficult to justify spending that amount on a shirt without a good reason). As a rule I never get a name on the back though, as they probably leave next season and then you can't wear it anymore.

yeah the black one is cool, I like the pink one too, and I have last seasons home kit already, I always have #4 on my shirts regardless of who is wearing it.

I ordered the black shirt and got Martinelli 11 on the back in the gold Club font along with the Europa League patch on the arm. Due to arrive on the 22nd of August according to DHL.
On the website recently, they only had XS size left and expecting more stock soon. I thought this was going to be popular so got in quick.

Mari's loan confirmed, obligation to buy if they stay up less than ideal. He's got 2 years left back so there is every chance he is with us next season!
Nelson's picked up a knock which might bugger his exit.

Have you guys seen the chat around Chelsea and Auba? It just doesn’t make sense to me and would destroy his legacy with us given his less than dignified exit.

On the other hand a bit of chat that Depay might be sold on the cheap - that could make for a decent acquisition for us.

Yea not sure how I feel about it ay. Like I can’t stand him for leaving and never really want to see him do well again because of it.
But the Barca situation sounds mental and I wouldn’t wish that on any employee so maybe Chelsea makes sense. Not sure how tuchel will use him as auba is a poacher while he likes a more rounded striker.

Auba leaving us had to happen, going to Barca and not being happy, cared about etc is a reason for him to look elsewhere, if Chelsea want to spend $45m on him then win win for Barca and Auba I guess. I dont see him setting the world alight at Chelsea.

this mornings game was fun to watch, Jesus, gives us so much power up front, he's physical, energetic and so sharp. Miles ahead of what Auba and Lacazette offered, even at their best.

Thought we look great on attack if not a little shaky on the break which is where  Leicester  caught us.

Oh man. Just saw a report that arsenal reps have meet with those of AC Milan’s Tonali. While it’s a pretty lightweight sauce, I am a huge tonali fan so this has hooked me. He would be an amazing xhaka challenger/replacement. Can also play deeper in Parteys role if needed.

So many thoughts after that game.
God Saliba looks so good. The own goal was unfortunate, but man he is impressing me at every turn. Some of the anticipation with those intercepts was phenomenal. And he is SO FAST.
Zinchenko, where to start, this guy looks amazing for us. The way Arteta has him and Xhaka playing is really exciting, the opposition had no idea who was going where or doing what.
I know everyone is always saying we need to upgrade on Xhaka and while I'm a fan of his, I do tend to agree, but I had not seen a feasible option yet for what he gives us. I can see one now - Zinchenko in midfield and Tierney at LB. They would be fantastic together I think, playing in ways like we saw Xhaka/Zinchenko on the weekend. Having said that, very happy to watch how Xhaka/Zinchenko develop with this style we've got going on that part of the pitch.
How strong does does this bench look now by the way... If we were to buy another midfielder before the deadline, and Vieira gets fit, all of a sudden there is no room for Lokonga AND Elneny on the bench.
The backline is so strong right now, and yet we had Tierney and Tomiyasu on the bench. End of last season we fell apart when those two were injured, now we are excelling with them on the bench, what a difference. Biggest worry now is to keep them all happy!

first two games Xhaka has shown how solid he can be, he and Zinchenko rotated between left back and Central midfield all game, the inter-change was so smooth and kept the defense guessing. Some f the overlap play down the left was sublime.

Jesus looks really exciting so far. What a difference it makes getting your major signings early enough that they do a full pre-season and are ready to go from the first game.

Jesus looks like he's been with us for ever. Probably helps that he's played EPL with City and his another Brazilian working with him in Martenelli. I love his hustle, and the fact he'
s not afraid to engage physically with the centre backs.

Pepe will likely stay unless we sign another wide forward, just for numbers in the squad I would think.
Perhaps the same for AMN - stays until we sign a midfielder?
Bellerin can go now, and I think Nelson could go on loan, although some chat that he's picked up a knock?

I think bellerin is already in Spain. Looks like he is going to buy himself out of the contract.
I’m torn with AMN, I really like him as a player but he just hasn’t kicked on from 2 seasons ago.
Agree on Pepe, while I wish we could move him on, we still need him for season unless we can bring someone else in.
Have heard more midfielder rumours recently so wondering if we are looking at beefing up there rather than wide players.

Given how little Pepe played last season surely we must be willing to call time and find another talent to back Saka up.

Finished the All or Nothing series last night.
The last episode was the car crash in slow motion I expected it to be. So disappointing that we fell over like that at the end of the season, it was hard to re-live it.
I could write a lot about my thoughts from the series but my number one conclusion was that Arteta is the man for us. He is so intense, so passionate, and although they gave us a frustratingly limited view of his tactical expertise, it does appear from the hints of evidence that he is brilliant at this. He is certainly a good motivator of the players, and appears to know the right things to say at the right times, and how to get the best out of this team.
From watching that I can only imagine how good it is to be in that dressing room and on that training pitch right now when confidence is high. As they said in one episode, Wenger used to say that you gain confidence by going up stairs one by one, but when you lose it, it's like going down an elevator. So important that they keep this level up and get the win this weekend. We want 15 points when we go to Old Trafford in round 6. Yes they look a rabble but they have a big home crowd and tend to get up for games against us, and they may well be on the mend by then.
When the going is good we got to keep it going.

We go again. Must win to keep up the momentum. Expecting an unchanged lineup.
I love that our subs are so strong now. It's excellent when Smith-Rowe and Tierney come off the bench and give us something extra.

Bournemouth away feels a classic bogey game for us, but I’m feeling good with this team.
Finished AON last night, Mrs and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Plenty cut out and a very club friendly view but I’d actually thoroughly enjoy watching that inside view each season. I found Artetas leadership style interesting too, he seemed to find a good balance between hair dryer and empathetic.

For those too young to remember what it was like watching Arsenal's away games on tv with Wenger's peak teams ('98 - '05), it was like that.
Complete dominance and multiple goals in the first 20 minutes, loud raucous away fans for 90 minutes.
Bought back memories.

Yeah was just thinking it was like the Henry and Vieira days when we'd blow a team away in the first 20 mins then just essentially had a kick around the the rest of it.
