Say NO to NIMBYs

Yellow Fever fans love footy, and we love the Nix, and we love the idea of the Petone Arena.

Football in Wellington has evolved, and grown, and the city is ready for a stadium built for football.

We reckon the Petone Arena is a great concept - a small, boutique, ground where the Wellington Phoenix can thrive.

We also reckon Petone is the best place for it. Lots of great bars, a thriving high street. We think Petone could be the home of football not just in Wellington, but in New Zealand.

There is a small but really well organised movement against the Arena proposal. Good on them for having their say, but there are also lots of us who are in favour. And we need to not be lazy, and make a submission in support so the Council hears both sides.
