I would be, having been to that country around 50 times.  Very few black south africans migrate here. You can take that for granted. Apartheid meant that they did not obtain tertiary qualifications very easily which a few years ago was an important factor in immigrating. Those who have since completed them have moved into the middle class and the current BSE policies, mean they have less cause to need to migrate as opposed to a white. Virtually every one these days needs a job to migrate to New Zealand and that involves coming here to get one. Many blacks can simply not afford that. The blacks who can have less push factors to leave.

The

whites also love their rugby (which the blacks historically viewed as the sport of apartheid). Likewise the whites viewed soccer as the sport of blacks. You may however have Cape Coloureds who like soccer but many of them follow rugby.

Banking on the White African who lives in Torbay (who likely came here becuase they had ssues with their country) to go to a soccer game which is still viewed as a black mans sport in South Africa would be a disaster.
