Pity 3 Lions ripe for the picking, losing to the Danes 1-0 this morning. Maguire sent off early.

Sounds like having a lot of players based in Scandinavia (tough rules requiring quarantine when returning for UK) biggest problem re AWs, getting a 'competitive' side together.

Easier for Socceroos having a lot more first choice players based in the UK.

Wonder if there is a slim chance of some games in the March 2021 window for an Euro AWs selection, if quarantine rules in the EU are relaxed a bit by then. At the same a Handy Prem/A League AWs deals with likes of Cook Islands, American Samoa or whoever re first phase OFC WC qualifying.
