Squad actually turned out a lot better than I thought. I was sure Woodsy would be toast with the Newcastle move. Happy to have Sapreet back in as well. Should be no qualms without Libby if it curries favour for OFC qualifiers time then fair game. Real good chance to see what the other boys can do in his shadow. Hoping for a big tour from De Vries!
Shame about the 4am kick off times. 5am was perfect to get the whole game in before work and not feel too shattered. 4am makes it a bit dicey. Will have to hope the kids get to bed early those nights before and I can do the same myself.
Also how good will the 29th be. All Whites kicking off their year with a win in the morning. And then Phoenix booking their place in the FFA Cup finals in the evening. The perfect day bookended by NZ Football
