If Danny Hay was to leave, who would be the best replacement?
Des Buk surely wouldn't come as his club management career seems to be on an upward trajectory.
Seems silly to not at least offer Danny the job again to keep continuity within the squad. Bar some highly, highly dubious refereeing we'd potentially be off to the world cup with major strides taken in terms of team identity. Personally, I'd renew his contract, for at least 2 more years.

If they the rumoured allegations against Hay are proven factual he should go. But if not he should stay. Simple as that.
Oh and if not Hay, ex Peru coach (the other team that lost their IC playoff) Ricardo Gareca is now available.
His rumoured last contract with the Peruvian FA, was for US$3.7 million ($NZD6 million) a year. Chicken feed surely for NZF.
