Yes the Olympics is a great place for young players to test themselves, but unfortunately European club scouts place greater value (not exclusively) to young players playing for their national team.
Nobody is comparing the AW to England, my point is based on this list of 100 pro players. Baze or any future AW coach is not looking at 100 players, he is only really looking for 16 quality players out of a group of possibly 30 (maybe) that are playing at a top level.
