But at the end of the day, it doesn't matter. League fans will watch that and we'll watch this. For the NZ league team it's the most important match until the next week (wow, so important), whereas for football it's the most important match until June 2018 or November 2021.

It's that sort of dumb, arrogant attitude that will mean football will always struggle in this country. 

It does matter!! It matters so much that every sports fan in NZ, regardless of where their true passions lies , has the opportunity of watching this match without clashes.

Heaven forbid a few may like the atmosphere they see and consider attending a Nix match.

This is a sport where in the Bahrain match that a player, Tim Brown had to actually start a marketing campaign to fill the stadium.

It may fill by itself this time, but what you are saying is that tv audience doesn't matter.  It matters so much

By the way Tonga have just as much chance of winning the World Cup then the kiwis this year. But of course you don't care about league so won't know that
