12k on a Thursday night in a gridass city on a Thursday night is by far better then a 10k crowd on a lazy Sunday afternoon. It is bad and I would not be happy with that if I was Wellington.

Inflammatory. Was a chance Wood would play in Auckland, but he was scrubbed in advance for the ROF. Still would have been interesting the crowds if the schedule was reversed. 09's traffic really is terrible midweek around the Penrose environs. Auckland did already have games at both EP (Blues) & Mt Smart (Warriors) today. But makes sense to share games between the 2 cities, each window - though Cantabs will disagree.
