Even if AWs miss out on the final, this tourney has been really worthwhile. Hopefully they get invited back next year - if becomes an annual event.
A chance to assess the next layer of talent/increase player depth, exposure to hot steamy conditions not unlike the Islands, plus good experience for Schmid and his staff to bed in some of their ideas, or throw out the ones that don't work.
Fingers crossed some of the amateur Handy Prem players secure a pro contract with the Nix, or overseas.
Interesting that he has given all 3 keepers a game.
