I imagine Rogerson is there as cover for Old. If Waine is also out they will need Mata, as the squad is already a bit light on fowards. And if Wood got injured in the States, you'd have no strikers at all.
Rogerson is an interesting choice. Corica has obviously told Baze he's impressing in AFC pre season. Must be, to be picked ahead of Randall, OVH, Gillion and Bayliss - who were all at the Olympics and the first two also in Vanuatu.
