Buckingham's Mumbai City were 5th in the last ISL (11 teams) regular season, his first term in charge. Missing the playoffs.

They were premiership winners the season prior, also going on to win the Grand Final. So yes to date have gone backwards under Des's watch.

New ISL season kicks off 10th October. Brad Inman & Roslyn Griffiths are at Mumbai City.
