I thought it was slightly better than HD,but not worth a)the money or b) the annoyance of having to wear the glasses. So gets a meh from me.
you'd be amazed!
btw I heard that less than 20,000 tickets have been sold for the game.
I've heard to the contrary.
btw I heard that less than 20,000 tickets have been sold for the game. Really disappointing if true but just shows the nature of Australian football supporters I guess. PAX isn't accurate here, so not sure which number is correct.
+ watching 3D tv's for an extended period will absolutely kill your eyesight

I remember when Sydney had a game and the PAX was really high and then the crowd was around 10k or something.
Poor Hard News! I'll shout you one, mate.
he is actually employed, he is just pulling a scam to get everyone to shout him a beer.....
At this stage Transport at Fed. Square but trying to get hold of them to confirm it.
NEWS thanks for the heads up, I take it by your presence at the game youve broken the shackles of unemployed financial retardation? studsuplads2010-05-17 14:38:44

Add on FoxSports syas it's the first ever 3D broadcast sport in Aus.

I went into JB Hifi the other day and this dude showed me the 3D TVs
it's a lot better than you think
omg we so need PAX...it will get us through these slow days.
So Electric ave if you're a fan of the 82 AWs and Kings if you prefer the 2010 incarnation?
PAX! we want PAX!

Burn the heretic!
PAX is god.
Aus reports I have seen/heard say between 35k and 50k.

I heard close to 50k at the end of last week.
If true, 70k seems achievable.

Anyone else notice the date on the homepage banner?
Banner fail.
HAHAHAHA brilliant.
News is so busy these days...these mistakes are bound to happen.
That's immediately following getting the 24hour clock wrong.

Mine is a Cider. Magic.
I'll need to see some WINZ papers first then!
Won't help. Not registered with them.
I recall drinking previously at Transport at Fed square and paying a fortune for beers, they might have every beer under the sun, but they make you pay for them... ~$9Au a bottle.
I'll be drinking their Emerson's at $15 a bottle.
Not too fussed on the crowd size.....thats Australias problem. But if it is 50k with a week to go I would expect them to sell another 20 to 30k. The Socceroos will be in town this weekend and will do some promo stuff which should boost the numbers. Melbourne is famous for people leaving it late for ticket sales and then you get a big uptake on the day.
I just hope there will be lots of kiwis who sit together and make heaps of noise!
I'm sure we'll hear the kiwi's more than the aussies on the tv!!!
