Qatar are the hosts, so not sure much NZF can do about the game organisation.

thanks for the link but that website is notoriously unreliable.

NZF should have said it was too late to change venue.

Ok Qatar likely has no fans but I've run into a few kiwis and Aussies here who were keen for the game.
