- For food, Grease Monkey and Brodburger - according to locals this is a religious divide, but both are excellent (I've proposed Grease Monkey for pre-match because it's only 30 minutes away from the stadium)
- As a post-game hangover cure, Lake Burley Griffin parkrun - free 5km run/walk/stagger, 8:00am every Saturday
- For something more serious, the Australian War Memorial is a sobering reminder of what links us and Aussie off the sportsfield (the guided tours are worth it, as is staying for the Last Post)
Oh and I'm looking forward to the game too!
