I think that’s what you get with McCowatt. He provides assists and goals in moments. Came close to one with Wood. That’s his game. He also has an accurate radar on shots from the top of the box usually.
He runs and defends. But he’s not a 90 minute player pressing at the intensity he did.
I’m sure Just and Singh wouldn’t have looked good if they played 90 either. He was spent and deserved to be subbed. He didn’t and he had some bad touches when he was out on his feet. And that’s what we’re remembering.
They ran like wild horses in the first half.
