Been a few super fit midfielders play high level to that age. And given he’s missed so many club games the last six odd years, his body may allow him to play on well into his 30s

Ah yeah, to be honest I only put Wood in there as there isn't a clear Number 9 I could find in a strong environment at the moment like the rest (Strong Europe or MLS, etc).

Might be same as left back in years to come, Libby can dominate that for the next ten years.

Thomas did describe that he feels really good now the knee caps and resulting inbalances are hopefully behind him. The potential of two Premier League academy raised boys in Dibley-Dias and Leuluai, should they fulfill the potential (more from U18/21 premier league don't make it than make it in PL) and with Stamenic still growing after a strong start in Europe, it's pretty exciting. But yeah I'd love some vets for the legend status and chance to guard and pass on the culture and humility etc.

Looking at the goals on the weekend it rather confirms what I was saying: of our attacking midfielders/forwards, both Garbett and McCowatt are the ones that know how and have a record of shooting from distance. And scoring. 

Singh and others let fly, but rarely hit the target from distance.
