I'd agree with that, lot better than I thought it would be, but that was probably Malcolmson had someone writing it with him (can't mind teh name) - There is a copy in the Wellington Library if anyone is interested in it

From memory it was 5-0 at half-time. If we got a sixth in the second we qualified?

By having to play-off against China I suppose it all added to the drama. A different story if we'd been overrun in extra-time!

Spain '82 is where it all really began for me. There were a few moments before, plenty of moments after, but that World Cup was the zeitgeist.
