3/7 continuously undermining the value of people who serve the sport FOR our country. Remember @NZFootball you are here to serve football in New Zealand, not football serve YOUR organisation. This global pandemic has changed the landscape of sport worldwide like NEVER before and

4/7 as a governing body you have taken steps to protect the people in our sport on the pitch by cancelling football activities, but off the pitch you have not done the same. Des and his staff, alongside some tremendous young men achieved some amazing results over the past two

5/7 years, some of which had NEVER been achieved before. They could have been protected until football returned to normal, many who have given their service to our game over the years for minimal return, sometimes zero return, and I’m sure they would be willing to do so again to

6/7 serve football for our country. Instead you’ve chosen to remove more good people from our game. What is also clear to me is that there was a group of players who saw that value and understood the meaning of culture and ‘whanau’ and asked @NZFootball

7/7 to serve the game and keep those involved but were ignored. Finally whoever those players are, I am very proud of you for standing up for our game and protecting YOUR culture. Hold onto those values, they will serve you well in your future.
