In my view, as poor a decision as this is, there is no chance this will be overturned. The Ref made a shark house call but she has deemed it a DOGSO. No mistake involved other than her judgement. Sometimes referees do just get it wrong

And as bad a decision as it is, the FIFA judiciary will become worse than the NRL / Super Rugby process if this is overturned. As bad as it is and as much as it sucks, I for one hope it isn't overturned for the integrity of the system.  If this type of poor decision is allowed, prepare for every decision to be challenged, Lawyers involved endless appeals and disciplinary tribunals

A violent incident that was missed altogether by match officials but seen on Telly is a different matter altogether ie Siggy on Adrian Leijer a few years ago.

Like I said, this type of incident falls into the area of wrong application of the law, which is challengeable (I'm not sure thta's an actual word btw).

Will be interesting as there may be some precedence based on A leagues ruling and for selfish NZ reasons hope you are right but by the same token, I still think that  is a Pandora's box best kept shut.

"able to be challenged" is probably the better lol.
