Since Covid they have played 14 games, winning just 1, drawing 2 and losing 11. They’ve only scored 8 in those 14 games and conceded 31. They’ll be a seeded team at the WC, but it’s not looking good atm.

It's almost entirely been playing higher ranked teams though.

WC has been expanded from 24 to 32 teams (8 pools of 4 teams). Ferns as joint hosts, and therefore a seeded team, should get two beatable weaker sides in their pool. ie will be only one other seeded team in their pool. Something like that.

So getting through to round of 16, should be very achievable especially playing in home conditions. But to get further than that, will need to be playing better than now you'd think. Be nice to see some genuine progress, and goals in games remaining before WWC starts.
