NZF has decided, rather sensibly imo, not to enter the OFC Women's Nations Cup. World Cup qualifying is done separately now anyway.
Yes and No, the match ranking for the World Rankings involving "Womens continental football qualifying match" is 3x that of a friendly. Assuming we were to go 5-0, it might boost world ranking enough to improve seeding at World Cup / Olympic time. Even sending a squad made up of local players might have been enough.
